If you like what i’ve done with the Burlesque Beauties you will love this show! After over 6 years of creating, producing & choreographing shows i have to say this one is my favorite!

It is Edgy, Provocative, Sassy, and of course Classy.

“Confessions – A 2 Girl Nuvo-Burlesque Show” is filled with classically trained dancers, acrobatic moves and tantalizing rope work with the two rigged ropes that gently hang from the ceiling as the dancers twist and move with them in their tightly choreographed moves.

This is just the beginning of this show, keep your eyes and ears open for what is next in store…\

“Santa Baby” Drop-In Class at Exhale Studios

Last Tuesday, marked the first day of “Santa Baby” 4 week Nuvo-Burlesque Workshop. With all the positive interest from the ladies, (thank you, ladies), I will be hosting a “Santa Baby” drop-in class on Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at Exhale Studios (1083 Cambie Street).

Like the workshop, the drop-in class will give you and your girlfriends confidence to get up and shake it, wherever for whomever! The song: “Santa Baby”. A sultry, sassy, holiday favorite.

You Give Me Fever – Nuvo Burlesque Workshop

Starting next Tuesday, creator of Burlesque Beauties, Carla Catherwood will be teaching an intro level dance workshop.
“You Give me Fever” workshop is a three week class, designed to give you ladies a dance to learn, execute, feel comfortable with, and even take home!

We will go through a sexy movement warm up to get us all going, stretch and strengthen warm up our bodies and some across the floor before we head into the routine to a remixed version of the sultry song “Fever”!!!

This is an Intro level, so if you don’t have much dance experience, no worries! Carla will teach you!

When: Tuesday, September 15th – 29th
Where: 233 Robson St. @ CBC TV Towers
(at corner of cambie st inbetween the library and BC Place)
Time: 7-8pm
Cost: $45.00 cash (for the three weeks)
